18th Century Peg Doll

This doll was inspired by the peg dolls that grew in popularity in the 18th century. Entirely handmade, her body and limbs are hand carved and joined from pine and lime and painted with enamel, and her dress hand stitched Robe a la Polonaise. Her hat is made from 1/12 scale dolls hat straw plaiting.
